A menswear brand founded and run from Spennymoor is opening its first-ever physical premises, right in its own hometown, creating three new jobs in the process.

Spennymoor Town Mayor, Councillor Billy McAloon and his wife, Christine, hosted their Mayoress at Home event in Spennymoor Town Hall on Saturday 12 September, to raise money for his fundraising campaign this year, Spennymoor Boxing Academy.

The Shapeshift Hair and Beauty Salon in Ferryhill marks its two-year milestone this month, paving its way as an independent and solo-owned business that is zealous about creating an inclusive, one-on-one space that is welcoming for everyone.
