Ferryhill drawing and egg competition winners

Ferryhill Town Council has announced the winners of its Guess the Number of Eggs in the Jar, and Park Drawing competitions.

Congratulations went to Summer, Aged 11 for correctly guessing that there were 158 eggs in the jar. Summer will receive the entire jar of eggs as her prize.

Congratulations also go to Harrison-Lee, Aged 5, and again to Summer for winning the Park Drawing competitions, which were judged by Ferryhill Town Councillors. 

A spokesperson said: “The Town Council were very impressed by the standard of drawings received, and would like to thank everyone who entered the competition. 

“Each winner will be receiving a £10 Amazon voucher with all Ferryhill entrants also receiving a chocolate Easter Egg for their efforts.”

Town Mayor, Councillor Joe Makepeace said: “On behalf of Ferryhill Town Council I would like to thank all the children who took the time to enter these Competitions. 

“The drawings we received were truly outstanding.

“I would also urge everyone to look out for future competitions that the Town Council are organising.”
