The Co-operative Funeralcare at Fylands House, Tindale Crescent, is appealing for help with collecting Easter eggs again this year.
Staff at the funeral home are appealing to the local community to donate eggs to share between local groups and schools for children and adults with learning difficulties, as well as children staying with their mums in women’s aid refuges.
Jenette Sisson, Divisional Manager of The Co-operative Funeralcare said, “We had a wonderful response to our appeal last year and we would love to put a smile on as many faces as possible again this year.”
Eggs and Easter gifts will be gratefully received at the Bishop Auckland funeral home until Friday 27th March (opening hours 9am – 4.30pm weekdays).
