Four of Spennymoor Town’s most iconic figures have been added to the Legends Wall at The Brewery Field.
Carl Beasley, Barry Farr, David Leitch and Andrew Oates, have been associated with the club for over 30 years collectively and join fellow legends who were immortalised at the start of the 2017/18 season.
All have played an integral role in the development and progression of the club on and off the pitch and will always be part of the fabric of Spennymoor Town Football Club.
Adam Brown, Head of PR & Media at Spennymoor Town, said: “The club is now of a scale where as much happens off the pitch as on it.
“Running Spennymoor Town is a daily job for a team of people,” he said, which the club thought fitting to honour on the legends wall.
“All four individuals have played a huge part in getting the club to where it is today,” he added.
“The Chief Executive selected them individually for their service during his tenure so we’re happy to see them recognised and I hope our supporters are too.
“None of them knew anything about this, so I’m sure they’ll stop by to take a look and a picture next time they’re at the ground.
