Youth projects grant funding available

The 4 Together Partnership has a pot of £9,902 to support youth projects and/or community-based organisations to deliver opportunities to young people aged 11-19 in the 4 Together Partnership area (Ferryhill, Chilton, West Cornforth and Bishop Middleham).

Projects should contribute to locality and countywide priorities such as those in the County Durham Children Young People and Families Plan 2016/19 that relate directly to young people aged 11-19 (25 for young people with special educational needs or disability).

Projects should improve the social and emotional capabilities of young people, and should take place within the Ferryhill, Chilton, West Cornforth and Bishop Middleham areas.

Only not for profit organisations are eligible to apply for a grant from the Youth Fund.

Such organisations can include voluntary and community sector organisations, parish and town councils, and sports clubs delivering wider activities for young people than purely sports participation. The fund cannot be used to purchase additional sporting equipment.

Interested applicants are requested to complete an expression of interest form in the first instance.

The minimum grant limit is £1,000, and the maximum is £3,000. Applications will be open until 26th November 2017. To receive an expression of interest form, or more information, email the 4 Together team at fouraap@durham.gov.uk or telephone 03000 267210.
